Job Summary:
This position involves working closely with the CDC [placement team] to collect, Analyse, and report data related to student placements, employer engagements, and career outcomes. The MIS Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate databases, developing reports, and implementing technological solutions to enhance the effectiveness of the placement process.
- Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the placement team to understand information needs and develop MIS strategies to support placement activities.

Design, implement, and maintain databases and information systems to track student placement data, employer interactions, internship opportunities, and alumni engagements.

Develop and generate reports, dashboards, and analytics to provide insights into placement trends.

Provide technical support and training to placement staff on the use of information systems, reporting tools, and data analysis techniques.

Ensure compliance with data protection regulations, privacy policies, and security protocols in all MIS activities related to placement services.
- Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in management information systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Proven experience (2-3 years) working with MIS solutions, database management, and reporting tools in a university or career services setting.

Proficiency in MS Office specially in MS Excel [Advanced excel]

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with placement staff, students, employers, and alumni.
