Dr. Komal Beri
Assistant Professor – Humanities
Dr. Komal Beri is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at K.R. Mangalam University. Prior to joining K.R. Mangalam University, she taught at Sharda University and worked as a researcher in a research collaboration between AIIMS, New Delhi & Brown University. She studied at Delhi University (UG & PG) and is awarded with her PhD degree in Social Psychology from Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi. She also worked as a counselling psychologist at IWill by Epsyclinic, Gurugram. She has published articles & book chapters on issues of diverse sexuality and mental health.

- My thesis centres around the Experience & Effect of Minority Stress on Loneliness, Social Support, Coming Out Growth & Self-Affirmations of Homosexuals. It was done using a mixed research design. It involved both qualitative & quantitative analyses based
on the data collected from 252 Homosexuals across demographics.
