Dr. Syed Mohammad Abdal
Assistant Professor -Basic & Applied Sciences
Dr. Abdal brings over two years of valuable teaching experience to his role at KRMU University. Before joining KRMU, he served as an Assistant Professor at Akal University Talwandi Sabo, Bathinda, Punjab, from August 2022 to September 2023. Dr. Abdal’s dedication to education is further highlighted by his tenure as a Guest Faculty at Lakshmibai College, Delhi University, where he contributed significantly to the Department of Mathematics.
His research interests primarily revolve around Nonlinear Analysis, Controllability of Semilinear Control Systems, Functional Differential Equations, and Fixed Point Theory. Dr. Abdal has made notable contributions to the field, particularly in the realm of approximate controllability of semilinear control systems with various types of impulses and delays.
Dr. Abdal’s scholarly work is well-recognized, with six publications to his credit. Notably, five of these publications are indexed in SCIE (Science Citation Index Expanded), demonstrating the high quality and impact of his research. Additionally, one of his papers is indexed in Scopus, further attesting to the significance of his contributions.
Beyond his research endeavors, Dr. Abdal actively participates in academic events and conferences. He has held significant roles in organizing international workshops and conferences, showcasing his commitment to advancing mathematical computations and research methodologies.
In recognition of his academic excellence, Dr. Abdal has achieved remarkable milestones, including securing the CSIR JRF (Junior Research Fellowship) with an impressive AIR (All India Rank) of 111 out of 600 in December 2016. He also earned the CSIR NET (National Eligibility Test) with an AIR of 40 out of 545 in June 2016.
