Her contributions to the field have been recognized with several fellowships and awards such as D. S. Kothari Postdoctoral fellowship from University Grant Commission (UGC), Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) – Central Drug Research Institute (CDRI) – Incentive Award for 3 consecutive years, Acharya P. C. Ray and Sanat Kumar Basu Award from BHU. Dr. Srivastava is also a lifetime member of the Chemical research society of India (CRSI) and Indian Society of Chemist and biologist (ISCB) and serves as a reviewer for various prominent chemistry journals.
