Dr. Deepika Modi
Associate Professor – Medical & Allied Sciences
Greetings of the day, I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as Dr. Deepika Modi (Assistant Professor, School of Medical and Allied Science, K R Mangalam University, Gurgaon).
I have been awarded Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics from Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, Hisar, India in May 2023 and M. Pharm. in Pharmaceutics in December 2014 from Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, Hisar, India.
I qualified GPAT (Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test) organized by M.S.U Baroda, under the aegis of AICTE, New Delhi and avail scholarship during my Master degree. After completion of M. Pharm, I enrolled under Ph.D. program in Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, Hisar and was awarded with Women Scientist-A, DST fellowship. I did my Ph.D. thesis on “Development and Evaluation of Polysaccharides Based Potential Drug Delivery Systems”. During my academic career, I published 2 research articles in Scopus indexed journals. Participates in continued learning through conferences and professional research. Actively works to connect students to transform lives.

- Regularly meet with students during office hours to address concerns and offer feedback.
- Keep thorough records of over 100 student scores and attendance.
- Grade exams and papers, giving detailed feedback.
- Completed M.Pharm research project on “Formulation and Characterization of Superporous Hydrogel Composite Loaded with Amoxicillin Trihydrate for Gastroretentive Drug Delivery” under the supervision of Prof. Shailendra Kumar Singh and Prof. D. N. Mishra.
- Completed Ph.D. research work on “Development and Evaluation of Polysaccharides Based Potential Drug Delivery Systems” under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Meenakshi Bhatia.
- Awarded with Women Scientist-A, DST Fellowship for pursuing Ph.D. research work (2019-2022).
- Qualified Ph.D. entrance examination of Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology, Hisar in Dec 2015.
- Qualified GPAT 2012 organized by M.S.U Baroda, under the aegis of AICTE, New Delhi.
- Secured 3rd position in B Pharmacy Ist year examinations conducted by the Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak in the institute during the year 2008-2009.
- Participated in the seminar on “Focused discussion on excipients for parenteral formulations: Commercial products, challenges and opportunities” hosted by the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, CT University, Ludhiana in association of Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (ATPI) Punjab branch & Indian Pharmacist Association (IPA) on 9th May, 2023.
